Erik Stavrand
Previous supply chain consulting firm experience
Prior to co-founding eXegy, Erik was a senior manager with a supply chain consulting firm working in procurement and supply chain transformation. In five years working at the executive level, Erik conducted organizational diagnostics and developed change programs, such as: enabling governance, deployment planning, and results implementation.
The focus of his work was to assess and improve work practices, measurement schemes, and related employee management and compensation structures. The clients he worked with represented different industry categories, including:
- healthcare
- medical devices
- heavy manufacturing
- telecommunications
Previous corporate experience
Erik's corporate experience includes 11 years of line experience with SmithKline Beecham and its various subsidiaries. Among the roles he served in was as a Global Coach/Trainer (Black Belt equivalent) in total quality management, with responsibility in a major division for training, project selection, deployment, results measurement, and review processes.
He also held various HR assignments, including employee relations, employment, compensation, benefits, and training. Erik even earned development and manufacturing assignments which included production line settings, targeted problem-solving, and application of advanced statistical techniques.
Education & professional highlights
Erik holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Vermont and is a qualified Myers-Briggs (MBTI) practitioner. Prior certifications include the Certified Quality Engineer, Professional in Human Resources, and Certified Compensation Professional. Erik is also CSPM certified.
